Train to Busan was nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It’s a psychological thriller/love tale/adventure about an unlikely relationship between a South Korean soldier and an American civilian. Sung-ho Jeon (Kwon Sung-ho) is an American soldier who is a resident of South Korea. Due to his trauma from the war, he was frequently hospitalized and had no friends. When he returns to the USA, he reconnects with Soon-hee (Kwon Suk-woo), a beautiful girl from his hometown. They meet and fall in love, and they become pen pals.
The film begins in the late 1980s , after the two meet in the restaurant, and he leaves her to return home. The next day, he returns to her house and they share an intimate dinner in a candlelight. Their friendship is strengthened after Soon-hee tells him about her past, and he talks to her about his previous experiences in the military. They go to a cafe later in the evening, and Soon-hee is drunk. She asks him to take her home.
The film follows their marriage and courtship. Sung-ho makes Soon-hee nauseous by asking her endless questions about her background, life and love life. He also pesters her with his unwanted thoughts about sex, which soon becomes a reality when he is arrested by Park Myung-se, the head of the Korea Railroad. Park takes Sungho into custody for trespassing along railroad tracks. But Soon-hee’s father decides to pursue charges against the Soon-hee’s use of alcohol, drugs and other criminal acts Park has committed against him.
Park is sentenced to two years in prison, but Park is allowed to serve a portion of the sentence in Geo jail. In Geo jail, he forms friends with Baek-min, another Geo inmate. Baek-min is attempting to flee from his crime, but Park is able to capture him and release him after he’s served only a few months. While serving his sentence Park becomes close friends with an inmate named Ah-joo. Soon-hee discovers Park attractive, and decides to assist him escape prison. However the prisoner realizes that Park has returned to his illicit ways. Park runs away, but is captured again by Hyung-joo, Park’s friend. They are later taken back to the Geo Jail where Park reveals his plan to free the heads of the victims of the railroad accident.
Park then unleashes his plan to destroy heads and use them as weapons against criminals. Park employs his new abilities to design a variety of weapons such as a rocket launcher as well as a powerful chainsaw. He soon discovers that the villains have weapons like a handgun as well as an assault rifle. It would seem that they have now become the unstoppable and unexpected force they were before.
Park then launches his plan to liberate the remaining prisoners by shooting laser beams from his eyes at the criminals who line up along the prison walls. The only issue is that the beam is released causes a massive explosion that injures all the guards and the prisoners inside the prison. ดูหนีัง But soon enough the next batch of prisoners is released by the prison authorities who take them to the guards’ post. The criminals however arrive just in time to watch the guards being killed one at a time.
Park then unleashes his next plan and aims to kill his rival, Kim, while he is moving with his new weapon in hand. Park is unaware that his target is a policeman moving. Kim then shoots and kills a policeman and then escapes. Following this victory Kim now has complete control of the railroad company. The movie ends with the group of survivors trying to find a way of escape from the Geo jail. Park, who has been left by his family and ridiculed, is still struggling to adjust to his new life. Park decided to follow his dream of becoming a director.
Based on the highly successful Korean drama “Korean Railway Tigers” The film is another hit not only in Korea but all over the world. The plot is great, the acting is amazing and the special effects are amazing. This movie will no doubt be among the most anticipated films of 2021. It has everything for a worldwide success!
